Career
Ousmane Cisse started playing basketball professionally in 2001 and retired in 2010. He started his professional basketball career after being selected by the Denver Nuggets in the 2001 NBA draft. Due to his injuries, he was soon released from the squad and joined the Harlem Globetrotters. He returned to the NBA and played for the Orlando Magic for one game before being fired. Then he signed a contract with the Toronto Raptors but was fired before he could play a single game.
He joined the Fayetteville Patriots of the NBDL and played for them in the 2004-05 season. Cisse joined the Israeli team Bnei Hasharon and played for them for four seasons. During the 2007-08 season, he helped his team finish third in the Israeli League. Cisse joined APOEL Nicosia in 2009 but soon left to join Etendard de Brest in 2010. He later retired from professional basketball in 2010. He represented his country in the 2005 FIBA Africa Championship.
