“Broadcasting the TakeOff body is disgusting. Posting Quavo in mourning is disgusting. J***n L*e explaining the video in detail to click is disgusting. Y’all have no respect for anyone’s passing,” wrote one fan pointing the finger at a popular black culture writer.

Another fan said too much sadness. “My heart was already heavy with the news of the takeoff—but to see the video go around AND trend is disturbing. We don’t have to see it, that horrible moment of hearing Quavo grieve with shock—that’s a different kind of pain. Please take that down.”

“Hearing Quavo” seems to be trending because of the video and one follower called it the ultimate disrespect. “I know, I know y’all ain’t getting the “Hearing Quavo” flow on Deadly Departures. FOR GOD’S SAKE, THROW OUT THE EXCITED VIDEO!”

Even news organizations asked followers to stop sharing videos in their comments. We ask that you refrain from placing images in our replies out of respect for his family and loved ones. 🙏🏾”

The popular platform was also flooded with comments and pleas for the video to be removed under the post of the rapper’s death. “That’s what happened when Nipsey was shot too. People won’t stop doing that because they don’t understand how disrespectful it is to the victim’s family…” a follower of the trend reminded the crowd.

“If anyone comes across pictures and videos of the takeoff. Please do not share. Have empathy. It doesn’t fit his heritage, family or friends. nor his fans who are all dealing with this loss. Please encourage others not to do that and pray for his family and friends at this time 💔🙏🏽,” asked one sentimental fan.

The plea doesn’t seem to have had an effect on new Twitter owner Elon Musk. However, he has changed the heart emoji from red to blue according to keen fans who tweeted about it.
