Director
Padmavathi Ghattamaneni worked as a managing director for Mangal Industries till 31 March 2017. On 6 January 2018, she was appointed as an additional (non-executive) director of Mangal Industries. Later, he became the managing director of an entertainment company called Amara Raja Media and Entertainment Private Limited.
Film producer
In 1990, he debuted as a producer with the Telugu language film ‘Balachandrudu’ under Padmalaya Studios.
In 2022, he produced his second Telugu film titled ‘Hero,’ produced under Amara Raja Media and Entertainment Private Limited. His son, Ashok Galla, was cast in the film in the lead role as Arjun, alongside actress Nidhhi Agerwal.

Land Encroachment Matters
In 2021, Gopi Krishna, a farmer of Diguvamagam village in Tavanampalli, filed a complaint against Padmavathi Galla, Jayadev Galla, Galla Aruna Kumari, Galla Ramchandra Naidu, and others for grabbing Gopi’s farm land in Diguvamagam village, Tavanampalle Mandal, Andhra Pradesh and used it to build a building for Rajanna’s trust. Two months later, he transferred the case to a local court. A local court ordered the police to book a case against Jayadev Galla, his family members, and several others.
