Paige VanZant Addresses Trolls Commenting On Her Weight Gain

Paige VanZant left the UFC after her contract expired in 2021 and has since focused on her OnlyFans account.

As of late, the 29-year-old has been the victim of online bullying, as many of her followers have accused VanZant of gaining weight. Some have called her “fat” and told her to “get back to the gym,” while others have started rumors saying she’s pregnant.

VanZant has subtly clapped back at trolls in past posts, but she’s not holding back this time.

Paige VanZant addressed online bullying and mean comments once and for all in a lengthy Instagram post.

“‼️Dear haters, I messed up‼️,” the post began. “I have been good at putting my best self forward. Making sure the world sees my ‘prettiest’ side. Where I failed was that I never showed my true self. Until now.”

The former UFC fighter went on to talk about the elephant in the room — weight gain. “Actually, yes, I gained a lot of weight…. maybe 20+ pounds,” he said, “but I also gained strength, power, muscle, and a lot of joy.”

People have commented on her social media platforms, calling her “fat VanZant” and saying other things like “back to the gym” or “she’s gaining weight.”

VanZant went on to address the comments and thanked her haters. “I see every comment on my YouTube channel about how I look pregnant, fat, fat and won’t be able to fit through the door anytime soon. But one thing I always remember. Happy people aren’t haters, and haters aren’t happy,” he wrote. “So all you haters out there keep commenting; you’re just expanding my platform.”

Moving forward, the former UFC fighter said he will not let his social media be filled with “fake” or photoshopped pictures and will try to show his whole authentic self.

“And I promise from this day forward to show my true self, forever,” VanZant wrote. “Fat me, broken me, skinny me, and the happiest version of me I’ve ever been. Social media will never be real, but I will try to improve. Check out my YouTube channel because I’ll be damned if I don’t continue to profit from the BEST HATERS IN THE WORLD. Your thickness – PVZ.”

She concluded by commenting on the video shared with the caption, which shows VanZant in a pair of blue leggings and a white crop top, posing in a mirror. “Yes: all of this was taken simultaneously and unedited,” he wrote. “Social media is a lie.”

A few years ago, Paige VanZant went on “Good Morning America,” where she opened up and got honest with fans as she discussed her childhood and how she overcame the sexual assault incident she faced.

“I had nowhere to run, I had no one to turn to, and when it got bad enough, I had to run to the bathroom and eat lunch on the toilet in the bathroom because I was too scared to eat lunch in the cafeteria, ” he told “Good Morning America” regarding the bullying he faced in high school.

At just 14 years old, VanZant was sexually assaulted at a party, which she says completely changed her, even admitting she wanted to end her life because of the pain she faced. “I don’t see any other way out,” he continued. “Good Morning America.” “When you’re in that position and feel so much pain, it’s not like you want to die. You just don’t want to feel pain anymore.”

But then VanZant found MMA fighting. “MMA fighting saved my life. It also saved who I am,” he said.
