Pakistani senator shares photo of Hitler, saying ‘the world knows why he did what he did’

An Oxford-educated Pakistani senator has sparked outrage after sharing a photo of Adolf Hitler while suggesting the world now knows “why he did what he did” by killing millions of Jews.

Afnan Ullah Khan posted a since-deleted portrait of the Nazi leader in military uniform, including a swastika sash, on Sunday.

“At least now the world knows why he did it, what he did,” wrote the politician with the misspelled hashtag “Gaza_Genicide”.

His post was quickly condemned by many online — including some featuring the Palestinian flag — before being removed from X for violating the social media site’s rules, according to the Jerusalem Post.

A woman, who identified herself at X as a senior fellow at King’s College in London, slammed the tweet as “disgraceful content.”

“There is no justification for violence against either the Palestinians or the Jews,” Ayesha Siddiqa posted. “Stand up for [the] Palestinian rights do not allow such comments.”

But in a post replying to Siddiqa, which Khan reposted, another woman defended her statement.

“First of all he didn’t say Hitler’s actions were good or bad in that tweet,” the woman wrote.

“Secondly, I know why you feel so offended that you have to justify your loyalty to him [the] West (where you live),” he continued, adding that “it’s a shame that so many children and women die and only you care about this tweet.”

The Post has contacted Khan for comment.

He has made several posts condemning Israel over the past few weeks, repeatedly calling the Jewish state a “terrorist state” and comparing the government to the Nazis.

In a post on October 26, he share pictures Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with blood on his lips as he holds McDonald’s food.

It was captioned: “I Love It.”

And in response to Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy expressing his support for Israel, Khan said “you’re not going to be president of the US.”

Khan also shared a photo of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with blood on his lips last week.

“For Israelis, you are still disposable Goyim #Gaza #GazaGenocide #Gazabombing,” he wrote.

Khan’s tweets, which appeared to defend Hitler, came as thousands of supporters from Pakistan’s main religious political party rallied in the country’s capital, chanting anti-American slogans and accusing the US of “supporting invaders.”
