During her appearance on “The Howard Stern Show” on Wednesday, Anderson revealed she gained “like 25 pounds” while writing her memoir Love, Pamela.

He mentioned that the change was due to him writing the book himself, adding that he lost most of the weight after he finished.

“It’s crazy, but I have a physical reaction to tell my story,” the 55-year-old reflected on the time it took to write the book, every New York Post. “It’s almost like I’m hanging on to something — It’s a protector… my puffy suit of armor. I don’t know what it is – I think it’s some kind of protection.”

Elaborating on the experience, the “Baywatch” actress also recalled being a “mess” for much of the period.

“I was a mess at the time, so I like that I stripped everything off: No makeup, nothing like that, and I thought, ‘You know what? If you love me like this — if you love me at my worst, maybe you love me,’” she added.

In her conversation with Stern, the former Playboy model shared her reaction to her story being told on Hulu’s Emmy-winning series “Pam & Tommy.”

The series, which Anderson claims she never watched, centers on her infamous sex tapes with rock singer Tommy Lee, whom she married in 1995 and divorced three years later.

“I remember seeing this ‘Pam & Tommy’ thing on Hulu, or some commercial for it, and I thought, ‘What the hell is this?'” the actress told her host. “No one called me, no one asked me. I am still alive!”

When asked if she had reached out to the cast to voice her disappointment at not taking the decision to do the series, the actress admitted that she never did, though she did not explain why.

Regardless, Anderson was unhappy with the way she and Lee were portrayed in “Pam& Tommy,” which starred Lily James as her and Sebastian Stan as her ex-husband. He expressed his opinions based on the opinions of people who had informed him of their views on the series.

“I don’t think they really portrayed Tommy or me in a positive light. I don’t know, I just heard that it was a very shallow representation of us, at the time.

“I don’t know why they would — I mean, I wish they would call,” he added.

If allowed to work with Hulu on the show, Anderson said there’s a good chance he wouldn’t agree to work.
