Career
After completing his studies, he got various campus placement jobs. He also topped the MICA entrance exam for MBA, but he chose to volunteer for the Teach for India program. In September 2012, he co-founded no broker rental platform ‘Grabhouse’ in Mumbai, which was sold to Quickr, an Indian online marketplace and classifieds advertising company, in 2016. He was later appointed Assistant Vice President of Marketing at Quickr in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In March 2018, he joined the Bangalore-based buy-now, pay-later platform ‘ZestMoney’ as a marketing strategy consultant and worked there for about a year. She started a women-only online platform ‘Pankhuri’ in Bengaluru in September 2019. The platform allows women to join various internet-based clubs and socialize with each other. He has raised about $3.2 million through the accelerator program, Surge for the Startup organized by Sequoia Capital.
Death
On December 24, 2021, he died of a heart attack. Many businessmen shared their grief over his death including the founder of Kalaari Capital, Vani Kola. He tweeted,
My heart goes out to his family at this unfortunate tragedy. His death is a loss for our startup ecosystem. We lost a brilliant and young founder, but I know his legacy will live on. It was truly a privilege to know Pankhuri. Rest in peace, Pankhuri.”
