The parents of an OnlyFans model accused of murdering her boyfriend in their Miami apartment in April 2022 have been arrested on charges of tampering with evidence.
Deborah, 57, and Kim Clenney, 60, the mother and father of Courtney Clenney, were arrested by police in Texas on an out-of-state felony warrant on Tuesday, according to WPLG.
After law enforcement returned Courtney Clenney’s apartment to her parents, Kim Clenney reportedly found a laptop belonging to her daughter’s boyfriend, Christian Obumseli, which was not immediately retrieved and turned over to police.
“Clenney’s parents tried to hide evidence when they cleaned out his apartment in Edgewater,” the outlet said, citing a police source.
The parents allegedly tried to access the laptop before giving it to Obumseli’s lawyer, according to the report.
The OnlyFans model, 27, has been jailed in Miami since August 2022, awaiting trial for fatally stabbing Obumseli inside the luxury condominium on April 3 after an overnight argument.
He has been charged with second-degree murder with a weapon but has pleaded not guilty, claiming self-defense.

Clenney’s father has been involved in his legal battle since November 2022, when he took the stand during a bail hearing and emphatically testified that the fatal stabbing was an act of self-defense after prolonged persecution.
“It was very toxic,” Kim Clenney said at the time of her daughter’s relationship. “I knew from the beginning he didn’t treat her right … There’s a lot a father who loves his daughter shouldn’t have to go through.”
Kim and Deborah Clenney were picked up by police in Texas and booked into the Travis County Jail shortly after 2:30 p.m. with “another agency hold,” according to jail records seen by The Post.

Attorney Courtney Clenney called the parents’ detention shocking and disturbing and saw it as a ploy to prevent them from speaking ahead of a gag order hearing later this week.
“We are deeply shocked and deeply concerned by the arrest of the Clenney family; this could be an example of prosecutorial overreach and misconduct,” Frank Prieto said in a statement obtained by Local 10 News. “The Clenneys have quite an interesting story and it’s a story that people probably don’t want to hear.
“We believe the Clenney family have been targeted with a number of false accusations to smear them in the press and make their lives miserable. It smacks of a power play by prosecutors to control the narrative.”

A hearing on the gag order for the case is scheduled for Thursday.
Prieto said an arrest in Texas would likely take place in Florida, which would hold “a $5,000 bond, that is, $500 per bondsman,” according to the statement.
“Now they’ve gone after Courtney’s Mom and Dad in a way that requires them to spend a lot of time in jail without bond.
“It seems that the prosecutor will take media mileage into this matter with little or no evidence because we still don’t know what the real charges are. It is unnecessary and unpleasant. All they have to do is make a phone call and we’ll be in court. It is very unforgivable.”
Earlier this month, the law firm representing Obumseli’s family released a video that allegedly showed the model hitting and screaming at her lover inside their Aspen rental, months before her death.

The footage, recorded by a third person, captured Clenney crying and shouting at Obumseli over his alleged mistreatment of her.
“Christian, I’m sick of you, I’m sick of the way you treat me,” Clenney said in a 3-minute video obtained by WTVJ.
Clenney, who has 2 million followers on Instagram, later claimed Obumseli had been caught flirting with three women, which he again denied.
