One of Britney Spears’ close friends, Paris Hilton, is talking about her upcoming memoir, “The Woman In Me,” which is scheduled for release on October 24.
While promoting her upcoming “Be An Icon” kitchen and home collection with Wal-Mart, the 42-year-old entrepreneur revealed her thoughts on the 41-year-old pop star and her new book.

In an interview with People magazine to promote her new home collection “Be An Icon,” the “Stars Are Blind” singer said she was “so proud” of the “Toxic” singer for “telling her story.” Paris, who has also released her own memoirs, knows better than anyone how difficult it is to recall the past.
“I know how hard it is to do a memoir because you have to really dive in and think about a lot of moments in your life that I’m sure you don’t want to think about,” she said. “But it was truly a healing experience, and writing my book has changed my life in so many ways.
“So I really hope she feels the same way about this,” he continued, adding, “I’m proud of her for being such a strong woman.”

Actress Michelle Williams is also proud to be involved with Britney’s story. The five-time Oscar nominee has been tapped to narrate the audiobook version of “The Woman In Me.” Earlier this week, People magazine revealed that the “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer will record her own introduction. The rest of the memoir will be narrated by Michelle, which is how Britney wanted it.
“This book has been a labor of love and all the emotions that come with it,” Britney said in a brief statement. “Reliving everything has been exciting, heartbreaking, and emotional, to say the least. For that reason, I’ll only read a small portion of my audiobook.”
“I’m so grateful to the incredible Michelle Williams for reading the rest,” he added. Michelle also released her own brief statement, stating, “I stand with Britney.”

The audiobook will be released on October 24 at the same time as the print version. The highly anticipated memoir is out through Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster.
Jennifer Bergstrom, Senior Vice President and Publisher of Book Gallery, told People magazine that “Britney’s compelling testimony in open court shook the world, changed the law and showed her inspiring strength and courage.”
She went on to say, “I have no doubt her memoir will have the same impact – and will be the publication event of the year. We couldn’t be more proud to help her finally share her story.”

According to a press release from Gallery Books, Britney’s memoir “illuminates the enduring power of music and love — and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms.” The book promises to reveal “for the first time the extraordinary journey (and) strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history.”
It goes on to say that her memoir is “a bold and moving story of freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope.” The memoir will focus on his decades-long career in the entertainment industry, his relationship with his estranged family, his love life, and his controversial 13-year conservatorship, which lasted from February 2008 to November 2021.

On Sunday afternoon, Britney released a short teaser video that read, “I actually envy people who know how to make fame work for them. My attitude is innocent – and it’s not an act. I don’t know what I’m doing.”
“It feels like I’m living on the edge of a cliff,” the video continues. “I don’t want it to be real; this is just a dream If you stand up for me when I can’t stand up for myself; from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
“No one knew what I was really thinking… until now,” the video concluded alongside a photo of the book’s cover. In the caption, she teased, “My story is yours on October 24th…”
