Career
In January 2005, he started working as a social commentator and contributor at the BBC Radio Asian Network in London, UK. He worked there for more than two years. In 2006, he was appointed as a board member at the Medway Human Rights and Equality Council in Kent, UK. There, he worked for the welfare of human rights. In 2008, he worked as an assistant EP with the start-up producer ‘Reel Life Film’ in London and Mumbai. In December 2008, he joined media house Magicworks Inc Entertainment Pvt Ltd as partner- head of business development. While working there, he commissioned several TV series like ‘Humara Haq’ on DD National, the documentary ‘Street Food’ and the series ‘Historic Hotels in India’. He also handles the agency work of his company’s clients Imagination, Ford India, and Sahara. In December 2009, he joined the film production house ‘Pivotal Movies’ as a producer. While working there, he released the Hindi version of the popular Italian series ‘Sandokan’ in India. He also worked as a music producer for TV series. In September 2015, Parveen, along with her husband Kabir Bedi, started the film production house Bedination. He has also worked as a producer with the film production house Minnow Films. In 2018, Parveen joined the film production house Laughing Tiger Ltd as a producer and director. He later produced the international non-fiction show ‘Vegan Earth’ and the US documentary ‘Bear Witness.’ From September 2018 to November 2020, he was appointed vice president of content creation company Content Flow Studios. In September 2020, he started media company Creative Nation in Mumbai. In 2021, he worked as a creative producer for the web series ‘Sabka Sai,’ which was streamed on MX Player. Controversy
Allegation of Illegal Occupancy
In 2017, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi (ex-wife of Indian film director Shekhar Kapur) accused Parveen of bewitching Shekar. In an interview, he said that Kabir and Parveen tried to occupy their property illegally. Suchitra said,
They live in a flat which was handed over to my daughter Kaveri. Kabir and Parveen did not vacate the flat. It’s been 2 years now. And they didn’t pay Shekhar a single cent.”
However, when Kabir Bedi was asked about the matter, he denied all the allegations. Earlier, Kabir and Parveen had a property dispute with Kabir’s daughter Pooja Bedi.

- In an interview, Parveen shared that once her husband asked her to change her name because it was similar to his ex-girlfriend Parveen Babi. He further said that he was upset with that and then Kabir decided to call him ‘V.’
