Elsewhere in the interview, Vanna White opens up about what draws viewers to celebrity game shows.

“I think people like to look at celebrities and watch them be themselves and not play a character,” White said. “When they come here, they’re being themselves, they’re having fun, they’re playing for a great cause, so it’s good for everyone.”

White can’t wait to see rapper Snoop Dogg compete in the season premiere on Sunday, September 25. “I met Snoop Dogg years ago and he told me he was a big fan, so I can’t wait to see if he’s still a big fan,” White revealed.

However, Pat Sajak really wants to meet a celebrity who has yet to compete. “I’m still looking for Meryl Streep because I want to see her say, ‘Come on, big bucks!'” he said, then joked, “That’s all I want, but she won’t come because she finds out you can’t win an Oscar for this.”

Many Hollywood upstarts are set to compete for a chance to win big bucks for their chosen charity. “We wouldn’t do this for charity unless we wanted the charity to do well, so we tried to organize as much as possible in that regard,” Sajak said.

In a video explaining the new changes, Davies revealed that the dollar amount will triple by the third round, raising the stakes. In the first round, celebrity contestants will start with $100 to $500 and then go up to $200 to $1000 in Double Jeopardy. In the Triple Jeopardy round, contestants will answer clues worth between $300 and $1500. While the new format may shake things up a bit, Davies still reckons “Final Jeopardy!” round to be the “great equalizer” when it comes to finishing the match.

In addition, Davies reminded fans watching along at home that celebrity contestants competing to win money for their charities don’t actually take the tests required for contestants to appear on the show, so some of the material may be more basic than usual. “Jeopardy!” audience. “It’s a more accessible show, I think, for the whole family,” he said.
