A 21-year-old student was arrested Tuesday for making a “horrifying” anti-Jewish death threat at Cornell University that put the Ivy League campus on alert over the weekend.

Pro-Palestinian unrest has risen on state college campuses following the Oct. 7 surprise attack on Israel by radical militants Hamas — and the subsequent counterattack in the Gaza Strip by the Jewish state.
More than 1,400 Israelis, almost all civilians, were killed in sneak attacks earlier this month by militants, with more than 200 others kidnapped, including several Americans.
