Model Paulina Porizkova is enjoying her vacation and enjoying some new experiences.
One of them included taking a photo with the wings of a giant butterfly in the background. Although the author of “No Filter: The Good, the Bad, and the Beautiful” first admitted that he tried to impersonate an angel, it recalls the time when he once grew his own wings during an intense hypnosis session.

The first Central European woman to appear on the cover of a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue seems to have had some experience under hypnosis! In a recent Instagram post, Paulina declared, “It turns out I AM a space butterfly” as she shared a photo of herself posing in a light pink dress in front of the wings of a giant blue butterfly.
Paulina and Czech-American writer Martina Forman were currently on holiday in a “tropical paradise” for a week to relax when the picture was taken. “When Martina took this picture last night, I did an angel impression. But looking at it now, I see a celestial butterfly,” wrote Paulina.

“And memories came back to me from years ago, when I was drowning in a dark, turbulent sea and clutching at straws to keep me afloat. One of the many things I did that year to keep swimming was a therapeutic hypnosis session,” he explained. “The hypnotherapist trained me to relax with breathing and the imagery of walking downstairs, and then he said: open the door.”
“I found myself falling through space. I was a tiny seed, a tiny living organism in a cold, vast universe. I could see galaxies twinkling in the distance, and I was completely, utterly alone. And very cold,” he continued. “I cried. I cried because I was so lonely and so cold and didn’t matter to anyone or anything. I am the only dust mite in a vacuum.”

“As I sobbed and explained what was happening to me, the therapist stopped me. ‘You can do anything. It’s YOUR dream, your space. You can change it to anything you want.’ And suddenly, I felt a kind of eagerness pushing behind my shoulder blade, and when I turned to look, I saw that I had grown these huge translucent wings with blue and purple swirls, black laces,” explained Paulina.
“I’m still in a vast dark space, still alone, still cold, but I have these big wings that give me control of my direction,” he wrote. “I’m still scared. I don’t know where to go. But I know my direction is up to me. I am no longer a speck of dust flying in infinity, I am a celestial butterfly.”

Many fans love Paulina’s story. “Great therapist! For me, it’s easy to get carried away with feelings and forget your own power. I want to grow wings too!” commented a fan. Paulina replied, “We all have them.”

Another follower commented, “Paulina, I have been a psychologist for twenty-five years. Introspection is hard and you knock it out of the park! Such a beautiful mind you have.” Paulina responded with praying hands and a red heart emoji.
A third fan commented, “This helped me. I am at the lowest point (hopefully) of my life at 60. I feel exactly as you describe. I hope it’s temporary like it was for you.”

Paulina replied, “I hope so too. When you are in the beginning or middle of it- it feels like the sun will never shine again. But it happens, you just have to open your eyes to see it.”
