Pauly Shore Sued For Alleged Assault & Battery At The Comedy Store

Two individuals have sued comedian and actor Pauly Shore for alleged assault inside The Comedy Store in West Hollywood, Los Angeles.

According to a legal document obtained by ExplosionShore is being sued for “Battery,” “Assault” and “Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress,” among others.

The claim comes amid Shore’s announcement that he will play famous fitness instructor Richard Simmons in a biopic.

Shore, who is currently in the spotlight for her upcoming role in the Richard Simmons biopic, has been hit with a massive lawsuit by two people identified as Sean Kehoe and his daughter Kirra Lyn Potts.

Both Kehoe and Potts claim that Shore caused them “serious injury” following the assault incident at The Comedy Store.

According to legal documents, the father-daughter duo were guests at the comedy club on November 30, 2022, when Kehoe was “grabbed and violently assaulted” by security personnel associated with Shore. The documents also state that Shore was aware that there was a plan to attack Kehoe and that he allegedly “encouraged” the attack.

As you know, Shore is the owner of The Comedy Store.

Kehoe’s daughter claims in the suit that witnessing her father being attacked at the club has caused her severe “emotional stress”.

The couple has filed six causes of action against Shore and the comedy club where they were attacked. This includes; “battery,” “assault,” “intentional infliction of emotional distress,” “negligence,” “premises liability,” and “negligence in hiring an unqualified employee.”

The lawsuit is unclear as to what led to the alleged assault, but both are seeking compensation in the form of damages. They also want their attorneys’ fees covered and for “reimbursement of all damages incurred” during the alleged attack.

Pauly Shore has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
