More light has been revealed on the cause of death of Rick Harrison’s son Adam. The son of the “Pawn Stars” frontman died tragically over the weekend.

Adam died while in Las Vegas and family representatives confirmed the 39-year-old died of a Fentanyl overdose.

Rick Harrison’s Family Reveals Adam’s Cause of Death

A family publicist confirmed the update on Adam’s passing through a statement that read, “I can confirm that Adam died of a fentanyl overdose. The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously. It seems it just flows at the border and nothing is done about it. We must do better.”

Fentanyl has been the leading cause of death among several Hollywood stars such as Angus Cloud, Mac Miller and many more. Last August, Robert De Niro lost his grandson to the fatal combo of Fentanyl & Xanax.

The late Adam was not as involved with the reality show or his father’s shop and lived a more private life. Harrison shares Adam and his brother, Corey, with his ex-wife, Kim. He welcomed another son, Jake, with his second wife, Tracy.

Before his death, Adam allegedly worked at Gold & Silver Pawn before the show’s launch in 2009. “Pawn Stars” follows Harrison’s employees at their Vegas Gold & Silver Pawn Shop as they validate items brought into their store and make offers to their sellers .

The show has been running since 2009, with the 22nd season ending in June 2023 as fans await the announcement of a 23rd season.
