Pawni was born on 20 July 1992 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. He started singing at the age of 3 and his parents recognized his talent at the age of 9. After a year, his family moved to Mumbai, so that Pawani could pursue music seriously and get better opportunities. He has completed his college career from Mithibai college, Mumbai where he pursued his degree.

Career
Pawni first gained attention after participating in the reality television show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs as a contestant and advanced to the 5th position by public vote. After that she participated in the singing of the reality show Indian Idol season 6 which aired on Sony TV. Later, Pawni slowly and steadily made a mark in Bollywood by singing some famous songs like ‘Lovely Jind Wali’ in Fugly, ‘Gehlore Ki Goriya’ in The Mountain Man, ‘Laila Main Laila’ in Raees, ‘Sweety Tera Drama’ in Bareilly Ki Barfi and ‘Dheere Dheere Se’ in Guns of Banaras.
