Motherhood has never looked cuter as Peta Murgatroyd treated fans to a sweet clip of her newborn son, Rio John, who just hit a new milestone.
The “Dancing With the Stars” season 14 winner welcomed her second son on June 18 and is thrilled to be able to experience this feeling again after years of trying to do so. Plus, she seems to be having the time of her life as her little one grows and develops all the time.
The newest addition to the beautiful family of four turned a month ago, and in true mama bear fashion, the mother-of-two posted a video of her adorable son with a short caption about it.
Peta Murgatroyd Celebrates Son Rio John Turns 1 Month
On Instagram recently, the “Faith, Hope & Love” actress happily shared her happiness with thousands of followers to adore. In this particular post, she praised her baby boy for hitting the one-month milestone.
The clip, set to a low-key lullaby, shows the toddler covered in a fluffy blanket. It starts with a newborn baby’s name displayed on a white dress, then it moves to Rio, who is awake in her crib and giving very cute movements and faces.
As the one-month-old lay under his crib, his mother’s hand, presumably, reached for his tiny fist just before the upload ended. The “Burn the Floor” star, clearly on cloud nine, captioned her post, “Happy 1st Month of life my little Rio ?.”
The professional dancer went on to list her son’s unique features and developing traits, writing, “This little one, however, has blessed us with endless eyebrows, a grin, a big poop, the most curious eyes , and big thighs! He is my milk monster, my man can eat for hours. When this child is hungry, you better prepare.”
The doting mum added that the little one “loves bath time but doesn’t like getting dressed afterwards” and shared how her cries can make coyotes howl when she’s cold. Summing up her post, she wrote, “A month full of bliss with sleepless nights…Thank you for choosing us @rio.john.chmerkovskiy you are loved beyond measure XO.”

The touching post recalls when the star’s husband Maksim Chmerkovskiy, also the father of her two sons— newborn Shai Aleksander and Rio John— shared a cute photo with the kids.
In the shock, Rio fell asleep in his father’s arms while his brother, Shai, watched from the side. The six-year-old was topless and wearing only colorful shorts. For the father of two, he covered his bottom with a white blanket and covered some of his bare chest with a white blanket with blue and red stripes.

The couple’s second son was born just in time to see his parents mark their sixth wedding anniversary. To celebrate, Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd excitedly commemorated with an adorable wedding photo.
While the Ukrainian-born choreographer posted a photo of the lovebirds, his wife took it a step further and shared more photos of her and her lover from their wedding. In one slide, the couple is kissing under a rainbow as the sun sets while another sees her lover kiss her cheek.
The doting wife added a video of them sharing a hug and a few kisses at their wedding reception. He attached the post with an interesting message that read:
“Love of my life @maksimc, Happy Anniversary, my favorite person… 6 years married 10 years together. You are without a doubt my best friend on planet earth, my love for you is infinite. ❤️.”
