Phulala Sugandh Maticha is a Marathi television serial. This show is aired on Star Pravah channel. Starring Samruddhi Kelkar and Harshad Atkari in lead roles, the show first aired on 2 September 2020. The show is inspired by the popular Hindi television show Diya aur Baat Hum.
The story revolves around a 20-year-old college student, Kirti, who aspires to become an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer. But his dreams were shattered when both his parents were killed in a terrorist attack. Planning to move abroad her brother, Sagar, plans to marry her off to Shubham, a sweat shop owner and sweet maker, but her strict mother, Jiji Akka, wants a less educated and simple bride who she believes only then can a girl become a true bride. excellent , Sagar cunningly lies about Kirti’s educational status. Kirti gave up her ambitions and became the eldest daughter-in-law of the Jamkhedkar family. Soon, the truth is revealed and Jiji Akka drives him away. Later, the show explained how Shubham vowed to let Kirti pursue her ambitions and be her full support.
Phulala Sugandh Maticha airs on Star Pravah channel, Monday to Friday at 8:30 pm. The show has earned the highest TRP rating in BARC. It has consistently ranked in the Top 5 Marathi television shows since its release.
