Singer Pink has nothing but love for Britney Spears and even feels like a “sister” to her!
While fans think Pink’s 2001 hit “Don’t Let Me Get Me” has cast a shadow over the pop star, Pink says it’s the opposite. Apparently, he has nothing but love for the “Toxic” singer, especially after their 2004 Super Bowl ad!

In a recent interview with PEOPLE magazine, Pink said that she feels like a “very protective” older sister to the 41-year-old pop star.
“People think I’m picking on Britney on ‘Don’t Let Me Get Me,’ but I’ve always felt like a big sister to her,” Pink said. “I’m very protective of her, and she’s the sweetest person in the world.”
Although they are not in touch at the moment, Pink said, “I wish him well. I covered him in light all day long.” The two became close in 2004 when they teamed up with Beyoncé to sing Queen’s “We Will Rock You” for a Pepsi Super Bowl commercial.

“That strange agreement. What the—? Like, ‘What are we doing?’ ” he recalled. “Besides, you’re Pepsi. You’re going to fly us to Rome to shoot in a fake coliseum across the street from the real Coliseum. Why are we here? We can go to Canada. I do not understand. That’s Pepsi money. For a while, everything I saw that was really fancy, I was like, ‘That’s Pepsi money.’ It was strange.”
Pink also had plenty of positive things to say about the “Single Woman” singer as well. “Beyoncé is the most beautiful person you could ever stand in front of. She shines like a goddess. He’s so talented, he’s such a pro — always has been — and always the sweetest, gentlest person,” Pink said. “So for him to be so sweet, and so gentle, and then fierce on stage is crazy.”

In a separate interview with PEOPLE magazine, Pink talked about balancing the responsibilities of being a mother and a rock star. The “Just Give Me A Reason” singer shares an 11-year-old daughter, Willow, and a six-year-old son, Jameson, with husband Carey Hart, 47.
The 43-year-old singer is set to return on tour this summer with the Pink Summer Carnival stadium tour, followed by the Trustfall arena tour in the fall to promote her ninth studio album. Although it is difficult to balance family and career, Pink still finds a way to make it work.

“I didn’t know I would have a family. I didn’t describe it myself because I was afraid I would be a terrible mother,” she admitted. “But, oh my God, being a mother is the most amazing thing I’ve ever done. It’s surprising how responsible I am.”
“I was in charge of the snacks for the basketball game last week; I’m accompanying Willow to the dance next Friday. . . . Who am I?” he joked, adding, “But I love it.”

Actress and longtime friend Selma Blair called Pink a “powerhouse in everything she did,” both in her career and with her family. “Pink will host this annual camp at her home with all her friends and children. He knows love and strength in community. She’s the ultimate mom and rock star,” Blair said.
“He took his time; created it for all of us to have that weekend to dance and eat and play. One night I lay awake in my tent listening to Matthew McConaughey playing beer pong, my son sleeping next to me. Everyone loves showing up for Pink!” Blair remembered. “In between tours, there are birthday parties for the kids and moon circles with all the beautiful women in his life. The most beloved group.”

“Pink is the bravest woman and the most intelligent and present-day friend,” she added. “We are all very lucky to be alive in Pink’s reign. Down to earth doesn’t begin to capture the personal side of this rock star. What a wonderful human being.”
While Pink admits she wants to “be the best I can be at everything,” she recognizes that she needs to find a balance between her personal and professional life. “I love being a mom, I love music, and I’m lucky that I get to do all these things,” she said. “I count my blessings every day.”
