Pizza Hut location goes viral after closing for ‘unforeseen circumcisions’

No tips are required at this pizzeria.

A Canadian Pizza Hut went viral after employees posted a sign on its front door with an unfortunate typo.

“Due to an unexpected circumcision, the dining room will be closed tonight,” a sign at a restaurant in Timmins, northern Ontario, read last week, according to CTV News.

“Sorry for the inconvenience.”

The funny sign was mocked online, where it quickly went viral.

“The perfect typo does not exist—” sneer an X user.

“Star Trek” legend George Takei joking back“Typo is my worst enema!”

Takei’s tweet has been viewed more than 85,000 times.

The restaurant has a good sense of humor about the celebration — even putting up a new sign offering customers a cheeky new deal.

“Based on a recent SITUATION, for a limited time when you buy one medium or large pizza for the regular price of just $5,” a sign posted on Facebook said, listing several items on offer.

“No tip required!” it adds added.

The store blamed a typo on autocorrect.

“We at Pizza Hut appreciate all our loyal customers!!! And how you had fun with our little mishap yesterday,” said the location’s general manager Marc Girard on Facebook. “Auto is correct.”

“Marketing done right,” one amused person commented on the post.

The local hospital’s charitable foundation also got in on the fun, according to CTV News.

“Hey Timmins Pizza Hut … stick to the Pizza, we’ll be conducting circumcisions,” the Timmins Foundation and District Hospital wrote on social media Thursday, with an edited version of the sign.
