It’s a master pizza.
The number of pizzas baked in France has broken the Guinness World Record for the most types of cheese on a pizza.
The record-breaking creations include 940 French cheeses and 61 from other parts of the world. It was whipped up by French pizza chefs Benoît Bruel and Fabien Montellanico.
To achieve the delicious feat, the pizza maker — who also had help from cheesemaker Sophie Hatat Richart-Luna and YouTuber Florian OnAir — cut two-gram cubes of each cheese and added them to the top of the pizza base.
“We had to cook the pizza dough first to prevent it from tearing under the weight of all the cheese,” Bruel explained to the record book.
They layer the softer cheese on top of the harder cheese and place cookie cutters around the mound so it stays together while cooking.

Then, after two minutes, the cookie cutter is removed, and the pizza is returned to the oven for 20 seconds before being taken out.
Bruel, who won the title before, in 2020, when he used 254 different cheeses, traveled around France for five months in search of additional types of cheese.
Many chess makers gave him cheese for free, once they found out he attempted the world record.

“It was a real triumph to be among the cheese makers and to be on the farm to meet producers who are so passionate about their profession,” Bruel, who has been in the pizza business for 13 years, told the record book.
The intrepid chef also holds the record for the largest display of cheese types, beating the previous record of 730, set in 2016.
