Shocking footage captures the moment a Brazilian police helicopter fell from the sky onto a city highway Monday.
A Federal Highway Police helicopter was transporting accident victims when it crashed onto a road in Belo amid sparse traffic, Jam Press reported.
Six people, including a doctor and a nurse, were on board the plane, but fortunately no one was injured, the report said.
The helicopter suffered a rotor failure, forcing the pilot to make a dangerous maneuver, according to PRF Commander Aurélio Leal, who was on board.
“There are six of us. Everyone is fine, no one was hurt, thank God, Leal said.
“The location is the best after we had a spin failure. Unfortunately, the tail hit the fence.”
Despite the miraculous results, the force of the chopper’s vortex blasted tiles off the roof of a nearby house when it landed.

“When it went up, the tiles fell inside the house,” local resident Elisa Loures reportedly said.
“To avoid hurting my son, I jumped on him. “The helicopter made a strange sound as it took off, and suddenly everything started falling.”
The helicopter also narrowly missed hitting a car, according to footage taken from the vehicle in front of the crash.

“It’s scary, isn’t it?,” said driver Vitor Fabiano, who avoided the fatal collision just in time.
“Right in front of me. Just a few seconds, and I could be under him. “It was really by the grace of God.”
The accident is being investigated by Brazil’s aviation accident investigation agency.
“Federal Highway Police aircraft undergo a strict acquisition, storage and maintenance process and operate with a crew that is also carefully selected, trained and inspected,” the PRF said in a statement.
