Born in Bengaluru, Pooja started her modeling career in 2004 by winning the Miss Coimbatore 2004 beauty pageant. She also participated in “Miss Kerala 2005” and was the runner-up in that pageant. In 2006, he also worked as a VJ for SS Music.
