Chhabra made her acting debut in 2019 with Raghav Subbu’s Hindi online series ‘Kota Factory.’ The show follows Vaibhav (Mayur More), a 16-year-old youth who goes to Kota from Itarsi. It highlights the life of an urban student as well as Vaibhav’s efforts to get admission in IITs by clearing the JEE Advanced exam. Poojan had the opportunity to work with entertainers like Jitendra Kumar, Ahsaas Channa, Alam Khan, and Ranjan Raj during the filming of the series. The show was initially shot in color, but was later converted to monochrome in post-production. This color palette is supposed to symbolize the existence of students in the City, which is colorless, sad, isolated, and generally depressed.

Poojan Chhabra rose to fame following the announcement of her collaboration with Hotstar Special for their online series ‘Home Shanti.’ The series, directed by Aakanksha Dua, will star newcomers Poojan Chhabra and Chakori Dwivedi alongside veteran actors Supriya Pathak and Manoj Pahwa. The plot centers around the Joshi family’s old dream of becoming first-time home owners. The Dehradun-based family was faced with the task of finding a new home after being forced to leave their comfortable government-provided accommodation where they had lived for the previous 20 years. With little time to leave their current property, the family of four began the hard work of building a new home on a small plot of ancestral land. The trailer starts with the Joshi family, a family of four, driving in a car. It introduced Manoj as Umesh Joshi, a comic Hindi newspaper columnist, and Supriya as Sarla Joshi, a stoic vice-principal of the school. In one of the pictures, their two children are seen fighting. Sarla decided to accept voluntary retirement to avoid having to move her family. The series has been announced to air on Disney+ Hotstar on May 6, 2022. Home Shanti as a family drama takes a close look at the emotional journey a family goes through while building their dream home.
