The Powerball jackpot continued to grow after no ticket matched all six numbers Wednesday night to claim the $672 million top prize.
The massive jackpot is currently at an estimated $725 million – with a one-off cash payout option of $345.7 million – heading into Saturday night’s draw.
It is the eighth largest prize offered in the history of the game.
The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night were 16, 27, 59, 62 and 63 with the red Powerball number 23. The Power Play option is 3X.
There is a 1 in 292.2 million chance of winning the top prize, according to the game.
Some lucky winners have claimed the bulk of the cash after matching all five white numbers drawn on Wednesday, the game announced.
One player in Georgia won $1 million while two players – another in Georgia and one in Texas – chose the Power Play option to win $2 million.

The largest Powerball jackpot of 2023 – and the third largest in the game’s history – was won in July by a lucky player in California, who won a $1.08 billion prize, the lottery said.
The jackpot has been up for grabs in 27 consecutive draws since the July win.
Behind that was the $754.6 million top prize won by a player in Washington in February, which marked the game’s sixth-largest prize.

Powerball tickets are $2 per game and are sold in 45 states, Washington, DC, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
The games say more than half of ticket sales revenue stays in the jurisdiction where they are sold.
