Pradeep Uppoor (1958-2023) was an Indian film producer, best known as the co-founder of the television production company Fireworks Productions, which produced the police procedural TV series CID from 1998 to 2018. He died on 13 March 2023 of cancer.

Death
He died on 13 March 2023 after suffering from cancer in Singapore where he was undergoing treatment. After his death, CID actor Shivaji Satam took to social media and condoled his death and wrote,
Pradeep Uppoor, (creator, pillar of CID ) ….. always smiling friend, honest & forthright, generous to the core ..… a long beautiful chapter in my life ended with your passing Boss … love you & miss you you friend.”
Facts/Trivia
- In 2017, he filed an FIR at the Juhu police station when a robbery of Rs. 12 Lakh from his house. He came to know about the incident when his wife went through the almirah and found cash and jewelery missing from their home. In an interview, the source spoke about the FIR and said,
The complaint was received on Friday night after the complainant found that the cupboard in the flat had been opened. Suspicious, he checked his belongings and found that cash and jewelry had been stolen. The police were informed that Rs 9 lakh cash was missing from the house, and jewelery worth over Rs 3 lakh was also missing. We have scanned the CCTV footage of the premises to look for clues regarding the incident.”
