Pramod Pathak was born on December 23, and he hails from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. To complete his formal education, he moved to Nainital, Uttarakhand, where he stayed for eight years. After that, he returned to Kanpur and got involved in his family business. After working in the family business for a year, he lost interest and went to Mumbai in search of employment opportunities. In Mumbai, he earns his living by working in a market research company located in Churchgate, South Mumbai. In 1996, he joined a theater group in Mumbai and decided to pursue a career in acting.

Career
While working in a market research company in Churchgate, Mumbai, Pramod Pathak used to spend his free time watching various movies and dramas which attracted his interest to venture into the entertainment industry. In 1996, he joined a theater group in Mumbai, and he began his acting career as a theater artist.
Movie
Pramod made his Bollywood debut in 1980 when he played a small role in the film Thodisi Bewafaii. After that, he made brief appearances in the Bollywood films The Legend of Bhagat Singh (2002), Mumbai Cutting (2008), and Phas Gaye Re Obama (2010). She gained popularity with the crime film series Gangs of Wasseypur (2012) in which she played the role of Sultana Daku.
Other films in which he appeared include John Day (2013), City Lights (2014), Raees (2017), etc.

He made his television debut in 2016 when he played the role of Duggal in the Star Plus show ‘POW Bandi Yuddh Ke’

In 2017, he made his digital debut with the show InMates where he played the role of Janet’s husband.
