Prashant Damle was born on Wednesday, April 5, 1961 (age 62 years; in 2023) in Mumbai. His zodiac sign is Aries. He went to Raja Shivaji Vidyalaya in Mumbai. Later, he studied at the University of Mumbai. He used to participate in stage performances held in his school and college. While studying in his college, he was offered to act in a Marathi drama titled ‘Tur Tur.’ Acting in the play turned out to be a breakthrough role for him, and he began receiving acting offers to work in commercial Marathi theatre.

Theater

He started acting in theater when he was 17 years old. After her debut in the Marathi theater industry with the theater drama ‘Tur Tur,’ she played the role of a college student in a comedy drama titled ‘Moruchi Mavshi.’ During his struggling days, he was offered the lead role by Sudhir Bhat, founder of Suyog Productions, in the comedy drama ‘Bramhachari’. He has worked in many famous Marathi theater plays including ‘Gela Madhav Kunikade’ (1993), ‘Lekure Udand Jhali’ (1995), ‘Priyatama’ (1996), ‘Eka Lagnachi Pudhchi Goshta’ (1999), ‘Amhi Doghe Raja Rani’ (2003), and ‘Olakh Na Palakh’ (2008).
