Career
He joined the Institute of Fashion Design & Merchandising as a fashion designer in 2007. Later, he started his fashion label ‘Preetham Jukalker Label’ and launched various ranges under his label named ‘All About Ishq,’ ‘Ikat Pocket Sarees,’ and ‘Cinta Handmade.’ She has worked as a stylist for many Indian celebrities like Raashi Khanna, Samantha Akkineni and Rashmika Mandanna.
In collaboration with the Telangana government, to revive the local culture, he has worked on the ‘TWEAVE’ project through his clothing line.
Controversy
He was accused of being a home breaker in the married life of South Indian actresses Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya in 2021. Later, Preetham explained that he treated Samantha like his sister and called her Jiji. He further added,
Everyone knows that I call Samantha ‘Jiji’ which is a north Indian term for sister. How can there be a relationship between us? I have known Chaitanya for many years. He also knows the kind of relationship Samantha and I have. I think he could have spoken up and told people not to comment like that about Sam and me. Even if he had issued a statement, it would have made a lot of difference. Right now, it’s fans who make these statements and spread false rumors. I think a statement from Chaitanya’s side will help control these people.”

- During an interview, when he was asked how he thought about becoming a fashion designer. He said,
I happened to watch a documentary entitled, ‘The True Cost’, which offers an eye-opening journey around the world and into the lives of the many people behind our clothes. It changed my design philosophy, and I decided to change my fashion line to a sustainable one.”
He further said,
As a child, I loved watching my mother sit at her sewing machine, making shirts for me. While she is gone, I will take over the machine and will sew some baby clothes. I used to have a collage made of all the fashionable things I saw, which prompted me to get a degree in Fashion and textiles.
