A Pennsylvania woman who tweeted bragging about her reckless driving minutes before killing two state troopers and a pedestrian on I-95 in Philadelphia was sentenced Wednesday to decades in prison.
Jayana Webb, 23, who was seven months pregnant received a prison sentence of 27-and-a-half to 60 years after she pleaded guilty to three counts of third-degree murder and vehicular homicide while intoxicated.
Her attorney Mike Walker told the Philadelphia Inquirer that under the terms of her guilty plea she will remain free until she gives birth in February, after which she will be allowed to spend some time with her son before reporting to prison.
Webb’s blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit at the time of the early morning crash on March 21, 2022.
The wreck claimed the lives of Pennsylvania State Assistants Branden Sisca, 29, and Martin Mack, 33, as well as Reyes Riviera Oliveras, 28, a pedestrian who was helped by troopers to get off the road.

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner called the outcome of the case “a just resolution to one of the most shocking incidents of vehicular violence in recent memory.”
In the court hearing leading to his sentencing, prosecutors presented evidence including Webb’s own notes on the X in which he bragged about being pulled over for “doing 110 in a 50” mph shortly before the fatal crash.
At the same time, troopers who had pulled him over on the interstate were called to offer assistance to Oliveras, who was attempting to cross I-95 on foot near Lincoln Financial Field.

As troopers helped Oliveras into a police vehicle, Webb reportedly tried to pass the trooper’s parked SUV and lost control, killing all three men. Prosecutors argued Webb’s continued speeding after being pulled over was an act of malicious intent.
Webb’s attorney said his client expressed remorse for his actions, and said he apologized to the family in the courtroom on Wednesday.
“He hopes that at some point in their lives, they will be able to forgive him. He will never forgive himself. “He suffered a lot because of what he did and realized that he was punished and had ruined a large part of his life,” Walker said.

Trooper Sisca had only been on the job for a year when he was involved in the accident. His longtime friend Trooper Ross Greenwood said at his funeral: “I saw Branden be a leader, a dedicated first responder, passionate about helping others, and just an amazing human being.”
Trooper Mack, a Marine Corps veteran, is survived by a wife, Stephanie, and two daughters, Olivia and Rowan. Speaking at his funeral, his widow fondly remembered her late husband, whom she called her hero.
“I will remember my hero as a great father, a good friend, and my filter, my sounding board and my husband,” she said. “The girls are so lucky to have you – even if the time was cut too short.”
