Prem Jacob was born into a middle-class Hindu family in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Since childhood he wanted to explore himself in the field of acting and modeling. After completing his education, Prem moved to Kochi to pursue his passion. He has a younger brother, Shyam.

Career
Prem Jacob rose to fame with his performance in the supernatural television series Nethra. The plot revolves around a Naagin who vows to marry her lover Arjun to inherit ‘Naagamani’ in the face of Karan’s evil offer.
Prem then showcased his acting skills in another popular Malayali serial Kabani as Professor Rishi. The series revolves around a girl named Kabani. His passion was to continue his studies to a higher level, but due to family circumstances, he was unable to continue his studies.
