The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, reportedly have plans for a busy Valentine’s Day.
Instead of spending the day on personal and romantic activities, the two are said to be heading to Canada to engage with stakeholders for the One Year to Go celebrations of the Vancouver Whistler 2025 Invictus Games.

According to reports, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, are preparing for a day full of events related to the Invictus Games for Valentine’s Day this year.
The royal couple is set to leave their Montecito residence in California, USA, and travel to Canada for the One Year to Go Vancouver Whistler 2025 Invictus Games celebrations on February 14.
While there, they will meet with the participating countries’ Winter Training Camps, including team managers, coaches and competitors. The gathering will also be an opportunity for stakeholders to immerse themselves in the experience of winter acclimatization sports ahead of next year’s upcoming competition on February 8 to 16, 2025.
The 2025 Invictus Games will mark the first winter edition of the sport, as the previous ones were all held in summer or autumn. It will also feature sports such as alpine skiing, nordic skiing, curling and skeleton, in addition to more typical sports such as volleyball, swimming, basketball and rugby.

The Invictus Games were founded in 2014 by Harry, with the first edition being held in London. Other editions took place in Orlando, Toronto, and Sydney, and most recently in the Netherlands and Germany.
In April 2022, Harry announced news of plans to hold future editions in Vancouver and Whistler, Canada, to reunite wounded, injured and sick active duty soldiers and veterans to participate in multi-sport tournaments.
