In their message, the former partners claimed their contract had ended on good terms; however, they did not share the reason behind their breakup. “Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we created together,” explained their joint statement.

A spokesperson from WME, the talent agency that represents the Duchess, echoed similar sentiments about the trio’s split. “The team behind Archetypes remains proud of the podcasts they create on Spotify. Meghan continues to develop more content for Archetypes viewers on other platforms,” the insider revealed.

During the final episode of the “Archetypes” podcast in November 2022, the former Hollywood actor may have predicted the end of his collaboration with the media service provider. The “Deal or No Deal” alum said:

“We’re working on other ways to continue the conversation, but know that as we close this season of Archetypes, I thank you. Thank you for listening and learning with me.”

According to Markle, the trip was “liberating,” “healing,” and “fun.” He also parted ways with his listeners by sharing powerful quotes about overcoming the “labels and tropes, boxes” others might try to force on them.

“It’s from a quote in a piece written by the Greek poet Christianopoulos,” the former actor continued the quote. “And she said, ‘What you didn’t do to bury me / but you forgot, that I was a seed.'” The mother of two ended her segment with more motivational content, advising her followers to focus on “growing” and promising to see them on the “upside down.”

The end of the Duchess’ podcast on Spotify comes months after the 41-year-old signed a new deal. The “Suits” star signed with a talent agency known for representing some of Hollywood’s biggest influencers. The powerhouse, WME, serves stars like Ari Emanuel, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Serena Williams.

Following their collaboration with the Los Angeles native, the organization proudly announced the news on social media. Their statement reflects their joy in bagging royals as their customers.
