Prince Harry, reportedly hurt his brother Prince William by claiming he was the only one in the family who “married for love.”
The stunning claim comes from Royal author Robert Hardman who has delved into the strained relationship between the two Princes.
According to Hardman, Harry subtly “insulted” William by publicly questioning his choice of life partner, Kate Middleton, which caused the Prince of Wales “hurt.”
William has shown recently how much his wife means to him when he put his royal duties on hold to be by her side following her recent hospitalization following stomach surgery.

However, Royal author Hardman, who wrote “The Making of a King: King Charles III and the Modern Monarchy,” has given his take on the siblings’ relationship, stating that Harry “insulted” William and “hurt him” by saying- he said.
Hardman told the NYP that he believes the Duke of Sussex did this by criticizing William’s choice of Kate as his wife.
“Harry talks about marrying someone for love, not because it’s the kind of person you’re supposed to be,” Hardman said. “I think that hurts more. I mean, that’s effectively disputing my brother and his choice of wife publicly.”

Harry, who has been outspoken about how he doesn’t get along with some Royals, released his famous memoir “Spare” last year, in which he shared details about his childhood and relationship with William.
In the book, Harry details how William taunted him at Eton College and writes about a physical altercation between them when they argued about his wife, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.
“Everything happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed my collar, tore off my necklace, and he threw me to the floor,” Harry wrote of William in his memoirs. “I landed on the dog bowl, which cracked under my back, the splinter cut me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got up and told him to come out.”
Hardman notes that Harry’s nature of telling accounts of what happened between them overrides William’s privacy choices and further hinders their bond. She revealed that “William is a very private person” and that “family life is completely off limits to the media.”
The royal author added, “Privacy is very important, and Harry just went and dumped all the stories about their childhood into the public domain.”
