Priscilla Presley continues to mourn the loss of her grandson, Benjamin Keough, as she commemorates the third anniversary of his death.
As you may recall, the Presley household was hit with emotional turmoil on July 12, 2020, after Keough committed suicide at his home in Calabasas.
According to reports, he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Unfortunately, for the family, in January 2023, they lost another family member — Lisa Marie, Keough’s mother.

Taking to her Instagram page to pay a moving tribute to her late grandson, she uploaded a red rose emoji as a declaration of her undying love for Keough.
Adding a tearful caption to the post, she wrote, “Needless to say, this is a very serious day for me – the anniversary of the passing of my sweet grandson Ben. Words cannot express how much you are missed ~ Miss.”
Aside from the thousands of likes the heartbreaking post received, fans supported her by taking to her comments section to share words of encouragement to the grieving grandmother.
One fan wrote, “Just a note that the article Lisa wrote about suicide for People was very touching, and I’ve sent it to many of my friends who are dealing with the issue. xxx ??.” Another declared, “Ben, Elvis, and Lisa all together.”
A third fan added, “My heart hurts for you and your granddaughter. The girls are very lucky to have such a strong Miss. Hopefully something strong for you.”
One suggested how Presley was able to deal with her grief, writing, “I’m so sorry! ‘Imagine Heaven’ is a very encouraging book for loved ones who have passed away. I encourage you to get it ♥️.” Another fan said, “Hugs from Chile on this special day for you and your family. Ben, Lisa, and Elvis are together now.”
This user stated, “And a bright note for today! Your oldest grandson is nominated for an Emmy ❤️❤️❤️ if only his mama and brother could be here with him to celebrate ?❤️.”
As noted above, Presley’s moving tribute came hours after his first grandchild, Riley Keough honored his late younger brother and his mother, Lisa Marie, in a memorial post. Riley took to her Instagram Story to post a monochrome photo of the superstar smiling brightly at the camera while the younger Keough posed behind her mum, making a goofy face with crossed eyes.
Conveying her feelings, she wrote on the cheerful image, “Miss you both,” along with a red heart emoji. Both the “Finding Graceland” actress and Riley’s heartbreaking post comes months after the couple reached an agreement to settle their legal dispute over Lisa Marie’s estate.
Following the death of the talented singer, a fight broke out between the two women four days after the singer’s memorial. Presley, angered by the terms of the trust, objected to a 2016 amendment that removed him and the singer’s former business manager as joint trustees, giving control to Riley, and his late brother, Keough.
Fortunately for the grandmother and granddaughter couple, they were able to come to an agreement regarding Lisa Marie’s estate. Lawyers representing Presley and Riley managed to negotiate a settlement in a court in Los Angeles.

United and together and excited for the future.” Meanwhile, Riley’s lawyer, Justin Gold, added, “[Riley] will not agree to the settlement if he is not satisfied with it.”
