Private jet departs ‘without permission’ causing plane collision at Houston airport: FAA

A Texas airport temporarily halted all flights on Tuesday when a private jet took off “without permission” and collided with another plane on the runway, officials said.

Both small planes sustained visible damage from the crash, footage from ABC13 shows.

“We just flew…you just cleared someone for takeoff or landing and we have a little bit of clearance,” the pilot in the Cessna was heard saying in audio obtained by the outlet.
