Pro-Hamas protesters vow to shut down JFK as cops promise crackdown

A wave of Hamas-loving protesters plan to descend on John F. Kennedy Airport on Saturday to repeat the havoc they caused there on New Year’s Day.

“Flood JFK for Gaza,” read a promotional ad for the event that began circulating online this week. The “flood” language is a direct allusion to Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, Hamas’ name for the Oct. 7 terror attack in Israel that left at least 1,200 dead.

“Bring flags, keffiyehs, signs, banners and decorate your cars,” the banner continued, calling on rioters to gather outside Terminal 4 arrivals.

The New York Police Department – which has so far taken a blasé approach to unrest, allowing indecent disorder with few consequences – this time vowed to get tough on instigators.

“Trying to close the airport? You will be the one to be covered! We respect peaceful protest but will not tolerate violations of the law,” warned NYPD Assistant Commissioner Kaz Daughtry in post X Friday. “The NYPD is ready to make sure our airports are operational and that New Yorkers who work hard for the holidays are not inconvenienced.”

NYPD Patrol Chief John Chell echoed the call on X too. “Don’t flood our highways and inconvenience our hard-working tax-paying New Yorkers. If you do, we’ll try to flood our jail cells with you and take your car!”

Since the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attack in Israel, New York City has been flooded by demonstrations in support of the terrorists, who have held demonstrations almost daily on college campuses — such as NYU and Columbia — and disrupted the Rockefeller Thanksgiving Day Parade and Christmas tree lighting.

Despite daily – often antisemitic – rallies, no meaningful effort by city officials has been made to crack down on the disturbances so far.
