Second rape trial for That 70’s show star Danny Masterson has started and the prosecution is going straight.
Prosecution Takes a Tough Approach

Danny Masterson’s second trial is officially underway, and the prosecution’s approach is quite strong. They bravely told the story of how Masterson allegedly brutally attacked the unknown accuser.
Before continuing the passage is difficult to read and involves things that could trigger a retelling of sexual assault:
Los Angeles deputy district attorney Reinhold Mueller spoke in front of four women who were willing to testify against the disgraced actor. “The evidence will show they were drugged,” Mueller claimed.
He continued, “The symptoms they will describe,” will include “dizziness, loss of vision, loss of motor skills, loss of strength, inability to control their body, vaginal pain, anal pain, all of which occurred after the defendants had given them alcoholic beverages and it all happened in a matter of minutes.”
Unfortunately, many Jane Doe’s recounted similar actions from Masterson the morning after the alleged attack that drew the DA to be as descriptive as possible for the sake of the case.
Danny Masterson’s Victims Share Their Stories

Mueller’s opening statement claimed that Masterson analytically assaulted most if not all of the victims involved. One woman testified that “When she woke up in bed, she was confused, she wasn’t focused, she was in a lot of pain. … She asked, ‘What happened last night?’ … He laughed at her and said, ‘Oh, I had sex with you there.’ He asked her if she was unconscious. She said ‘yes,’ that she was unconscious the whole time.”
This is the first time a victim has said that Masterson admitted to them that he “drugged” them. In the first trial, the prosecution strongly suggested it but because “There are no drug charges in this case,” according to Phillip Cohen, the actor’s lawyer could not directly charge him.
Who Are Danny Masterson’s Alleged Victims?

The victim in this second trial has a name. Jennifer B., Christina B., and N. Trout all claim their assaults occurred in the early 2000s. With the allegations from these three women alone, Masterson is looking at 45 years.
Another victim, Kathy J is set to testify as a “witness to previous bad acts.” This means that while her accusations are not specifically tied to the charges and the jury has not made any rulings on her testimony, her account will hopefully establish a pattern of behavior for the former actor.
New witnesses will be introduced who will also focus on the effects of drugs and alcohol on memory. Mueller also said they will hear testimony from LAPD officers from the toxicology unit who will talk about drug-facilitated sexual assaults.
“what you would expect as common side effects and symptoms after taking the drugs … there’s a very, very narrow window of time to detect that it’s in your blood.”

Masterson’s legal team’s main focus on these allegations is that there is no “substantial” evidence to support these allegations. Cohen specifically said, “There was no toxicology report, no urine, no DNA.”
He also accused Jane Doe of hooking up before the trial and going to the LAPD together with the intention of creating a bigger case. He told jurors that some of the alleged victims continued to see and be intimate with Masterson after the alleged assault.
