- Prem Geet 3, produced by Indian filmmaker Subhash Kale, was the first Indo-Nepali film to be released in India. In an interview, Subhash Kale spoke about the film being released in India and said,
The Nepali film industry has produced some good films. I feel that when the Hindi speaking audience can accept South films with open arms, then they can do the same with Nepali films as well. Prem Geet 3 is the perfect film to start this trend because it has scale and grandeur, and a popular cast. I am confident that Prem Geet 3 will have a huge audience in Indian cinemas.”
