The local hockey community is “deeply saddened” by the incident, the Saint-Eustache Minor Hockey Association said, according to CTV News.
“I salute the solidarity shown by many people over the past few days, which is very touching. Finally, above all, I express my deepest sympathies to their families and loved ones,” added Jean-Philippe Labrèche, president of the association.
