Career
R Badree made his debut in 2014 when he starred in the Bengali action drama film ‘Nandigramer Chokher Pani’ (Tears of Nandigram). Based on real events, this film tells the story of the struggle of the villagers of Nandigram, West Bengal, who protect their land, livelihood and identity, by opposing the construction of a chemical factory in their village.
After that, he worked as a theater artist for a while and polished his acting skills.

In 2017, he came into limelight when he featured in several funny videos such as I don’t NEET you (2017), Thozhar Java – AICA (2017), and Cardu mele 16 number (2020), which were uploaded on the Tamil comedy YouTube channel Kera Kuil.
He played the role of a fellow officer in the Indian-American crime film ‘Line of Descent’ (2019). Set in Delhi, the film tells the story of three brothers from a dysfunctional mafia family in Delhi who fight for the future of their enterprise, while an undercover police officer tries to bring about their downfall.

The film tells the story of Lieutenant Sodhi and his soldiers who fought for Indian Independence during World War II as part of the Indian National Army, led by Indian nationalist Subhash Chandra Bose.

In 2021, he gained recognition for portraying former Indian cricketer Sunil Valson (Vally), the 14th man in the Indian cricket team, in the Indian sports film ’83.’ The film is based on the 1983 Cricket World Cup, which India won.
