Singer R. Kelly has filed a lawsuit against three prison officials who he claims leaked information about him to a blogger, who later shared the details online.
Kelly claims that prison officials worked with Tasha K to air her dirty laundry while she was in custody.

According to court documents, embattled RnB singer R. Kelly has hit three prison officials with a lawsuit alleging that they conspired with blogger Tasha K to reveal details about him while he was in police custody in Chicago.
The three unnamed officers allegedly accessed their internal systems, which had records of what Kelly did during the time she was within their walls. This includes the singer’s personal calls, visitor logs, email correspondence and more.
According to Kelly and her attorney, Jennifer Bonjean, prison officials had a deal with Tasha to give bloggers Information about her in exchange for money.
Tasha has since spoken out on the issue, denying conspiring with prison officials to release information about R. Kelly. According to the blogger, he was not involved in any illegal activities related to the singer.
R. Kelly Says Bloggers Are Tarnishing His Reputation

According to reports, R. Kelly believes that information allegedly given to Tasha by prison officials gave her the ability to share unflattering details about her online.
According to the disgraced singer, Tasha and the three prison officials allegedly acted as an invasion of privacy, greatly damaged his reputation, and caused him emotional distress.
Kelly, who is seeking damages, also accused the US government of negligence, claiming it allowed prison staff to allegedly have access to his personal information and share it.
The singer’s lawsuit dates back to 2019. Following his conviction in the Chicago case, Kelly was transferred to a federal prison facility in North Carolina to serve his sentence.
Earlier this year, a Chicago court sentenced Kelly to an additional 20 years in prison after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a minor and possessing child sexual abuse material.
Following the verdict, the sentences will run concurrently, meaning the 56-year-old singer will serve 31 years in prison.

In the documentary, Kelly’s victims spoke in depth about his manipulative actions, which began with him exploiting their fame and love for him as his fans to prey on them and then being drawn into harem-like situations with other women.
In addition to pleasing him, they were reportedly forced to perform lewd and other lewd acts, which sometimes involved his entourage.
Abundant documentary evidence and public outcry led to the eventual prosecution of Kelly and, finally, justice for his victims.
Calls For His Music To Be Removed From Spotify

Since her sad actions came to light, there have been calls for Kelly’s music to be banned from streaming sites. This protest led to the #MuteKelly Campaign on Instagram in 2019 after the release of the Lifetime docuseries “Surviving R. Kelly”.
Hollywood A-listers like Jada Pinkett Smith and Neyo have been vocal in expressing their disapproval of the music artist.
He was subsequently banned in 2021 from operating or starting a YouTube channel, with the Google-owned platform also shutting down his previous channels, RKellyVevo and RKellyTV. Both channels host official uploads of his songs and videos.
However, Kelly’s songs remain on Spotify, YouTube Music and Apple Music, allowing her die-hard fans to access them despite calls for their removal.
However, the embattled star can no longer upload new music on any of those platforms, as seen by the removal of his 13-track album, “I Admit It.” The music project was released last December.
