Controversy
In 2012, Rabia courted controversy when an FIR was filed against her and her husband for abusing and kidnapping a bakery worker. In the FIR, the worker stated that she was beaten and threatened by Rabia and her husband, Ali Imran Yousuf when she denied serving her food. She also said that her bodyguard forced her to serve food to Rabia and when her husband came to the bakery, he started beating and kicking the worker. Ali was brought before the court where he denied all the allegations, and the police claimed that Ali and Rabia were not involved in the case. They denied the allegations even after CCTV footage was presented in court, showing Ali hitting and kicking the worker. The worker also said that the police harassed him to take back the case against Rabia and her husband.

NAB has been politicized and it has become clear that it is a tool used by the government to persecute us.”
