Rachel Leviss Believed She ‘Deserved’ Reunion Vitriol

The tenth season reunion for “Vanderpump Rules” brought record-breaking results for Bravo.

For Rachel ‘Raquel’ Leviss, the reunion brought awareness to life.

The “Vanderpump Rules” star opened up for the first time and told her side to Bethenny Frankel on the “Real Housewives Of New York” alumni podcast.

Leviss’ story is told through two different episodes of “Just B With Bethenny Frankel.” The first part premiered on Wednesday, August 16, with the second part released the following day.

In episode one, Leviss, 28, reveals many aspects of life behind the scenes of “Vanderpump Rules” over the past five months.

She opens up about her recent stay at the treatment center, opens up about the deeply personal reasons behind her name change, and tells Frankel about her worst “Sandoval”-related fears coming true; he’s afraid to alienate Tom Sandoval, 40, down the line.

Despite all the public noise, Leviss told fans he forgave himself for his actions.

He was honest in revealing that he has learned honesty is one of his “core values” and in the future, that value is not to be compromised.

Leviss Gives an Inside Look at Reunion For Part Two

Leviss touched on various aspects of the “Scandoval” scandal during the second part of his appearance. The “Vanderpump Rules” star also opened up about how she felt during the season 10 reunion, where she came face-to-face with her co-stars for the first time since the scandal broke.

The three-part reunion broke ratings records for the 18-to-49 viewing demographic, a factor Frankel downplayed. As the pair discussed certain numbers, Leviss revealed how “Scandoval” saved the show from near extinction. He claimed the show was almost canceled before the 10th season debuted.

A frequent element in meetings that might bring in numbers? Comment with the angry Leviss star.

Frankel took a moment to read the selection of angry adjectives and comments Leviss’ co-star used against him during the reunion.

When the ‘RHONY’ alum asked Leviss what he thought, he replied, “No one deserves to be talked about like that,” and reiterated that their target is human. He also revealed that it was easier for him to “break up” at this point than to take their words at face value.

Leviss channeled her self-worth when she revealed to Frankel, “I know that I deserve (love).” She also told the ‘Just B’ host she considers herself a “miracle” for being adopted by her biological mother’s older sister. Due to his deep sense of self-worth, he stated he could not “take those words” thrown at him during the reunion.

The ‘VPR’ star had an idea before the reunion that she would be “emotionally abused” by her friends.

Frankel asked her if she believed, after the reunion, if she had been emotionally abused during the reunion, and Leviss gave “Of course,” adding, “At this point, I think I deserve it.”

Fans Weigh In On Frankel’s ‘Just B’ Instagram

Listeners are eager to weigh in on the content of the second episode on ‘Just B”s Instagram post.

“I think the way the actors treated Rachel just showed their true colors. The amount of hate will destroy many people or drive them to suicide. Andy shouldn’t have let them bully him either. There is a difference between being angry or being a victim and bullying and driving people to death! I was shocked that Bravo aired it! Ariana and Lala and the brunette are the most judgmental and hateful people I’ve seen so far on tv,” one listener wrote.

“Are you serious he’s abusing the court system when he doesn’t need a restraining order and there are actually people out there who need it in domestic violence situations and the like! This was the most special conversation I’ve ever heard and when I started to feel bad for Rachel, it made me realize that she was actually the one with the problem and didn’t realize what she was doing. He’s making his bed now,” said another.
