Born on 11 November 1986, Radhika is a 31 years old girl from Mangalore, Karnataka. Her another famous name is Kutty Radhika. Apart from acting in different South Indian films, Radhika also produced some films like ‘Anathary,’ and ‘Narasimha.’ In 2017, she appeared in a TV show- ‘Dance Dance Juniors’ (aired on Star Suvarna Plus channel) as a judge.

On 26 November 2000, at the age of 14, she was married to a person named Ratan Kumar without her consent. Her father Devraj exposed the fact that Ratan had tried to burn Radhika alive, and Radhika’s mother also wanted to annul this marriage as Radhika was not adult, when Ratan married her forcibly. But after two years, in 2002, Ratan died of a heart attack.
Film producer and politician H. D. Kumaraswamy, who is also a son of the former Indian Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda, came in her life during his film production career. After a few years, in 2006, she decided to marry him. But, they didn’t reveal the fact of their marriage to the general public till 2010.

Career
At the age of 16, she decided to make a career in the Indian film industry. In 2002, when she was just in ninth standard, she started her acting career with the Kannada movie ‘Neela Megha Shama.’
Then, she signed the films like ‘Ninagagi’ (2002, Kannada), ‘Iyarkai’ (2003, Tamil), and ‘Bhadradri Ramudu’ (2004, Telugu). These films proved successful at the box office.
Her first solo movie ‘Ninagagi’ (2002) was one of her biggest hits of that year. Her duo with the actor Shivarajkumar in the movies like ‘Thavarige Baa Thangi,’ (2002) and ‘Anna Thangi’ (2005) also won a lot of appraisal by the audience. She appeared as a goddess in the film ‘Navashakthi Vaibhava’ (2008).
Her films like ‘Mane Magalu’ and ‘Tayi Illada Tabbali’ could not do well in the theatres.
In 2004, she got the ‘Karnataka State Film Award’ for the Best Actress (in the role of Gowri) for a Kannada film ‘Thayi Illada Thabbali’ (2003). In 2007, she got the distribution rights of her own film ‘Anathary.’
Controversy
Her second marriage to H.D. Kumaraswamy was considered to be illegal because, at the time of marrying Radhika, H.D. Kumaraswamy was already married, and had a wife named Anitha. A PIL was also filed against their marriage in the high court for violating the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.
