Rafa Yeasmin was born on 16 February 2009 to Mrs. Tania and Mr. Rajjak Yeasmin in Malda, West Bengal. He is currently studying at Sabuj Abujh Shishu Angan School. Since childhood, Rafa was very inclined towards music and wanted to appear in a singing reality show. She has performed in various pageants and stage shows till now.

Rafa is a budding young singer, best known for appearing in the television reality show Taare Zameen Par, judged by Tony Kakkar, Jonitha Gandhi and Shankar Mahadevan in 2020.
Later, she appeared in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs 2022 season 9 which was judged by Anu Malik, Neeti Mohan and Shankar Mahadevan. This performance provides a platform for young singers between the ages of 6-14 to showcase their talent in front of a national audience. Rafa gave his performance and sang the popular song Senorita from the movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. She mesmerized the judges and jurors with her melodious voice and received a gold medal from them. Rafa managed to secure his position in the top 12 contestants of the show.
