The star player and his partner of 17 years, Maria Perelló, welcomed the birth of their first baby since they tied the knot in a high-profile ceremony in 2019.
The new baby was welcomed into the world at a private clinic on the island of Mallorca. According to reports, both mother and child are in good health.
Perelló was rumored to be pregnant when she was seen sporting what appeared to be a baby bump on several occasions. His partner then confirmed to reporters in June this year that they were indeed expecting a child.

“Both the mother and the baby, who was born in the 37th week of her pregnancy, are doing well,” a source close to the family said, per Daily Mail. “The birth took place at a private clinic on the island where Mery had to remain under observation and complete rest for the last few weeks.’
News of the child’s birth comes months after the tennis player announced that he and his wife were expecting during a press conference in Mallorca in June amid rumors of her pregnancy.
