Rafiath Rashid Mithila is a popular Bangladeshi actress, singer, model and development worker. He has been an active social worker working with BRAC International, and he is the head of the Early Childhood Development Program Department at BRAC.

Rafiath Rashid Mithila was born on Sunday, 25 May 1980 (age 39 years; as in 2019) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. His zodiac sign is Gemini. Her nickname is Mithila. He did his schooling from “Viqarunnisa Noon School and College” in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science from Dhaka University in 2006 and 2008, respectively. In 2010, he pursued post-graduate studies in “Contemporary Approaches to Curriculum and Teaching” from the College of Education and Human Development in Germany. In 2016, she pursued a master’s in Early Childhood Development from BRAC University in Dhaka where she was awarded the Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal.

Career
In 2002, she started her career as a model. She used to do cultural and fashion shows for Neelanjana Palli (a fashion house). Finally, he appeared in tv commercials, and he became a brand ambassador for many brands like Hayes and Haier, Bajaj hair oil, Close-up, Huawei Smartphones & many more. On August 22, 2008, he got a lot of attention when he was featured in Habib Wahid’s song “O Amar Moyna Go”.
In October 2008, he made his TV debut with the show “House Full.” Eventually, Mithila appeared in TV shows, telefilms, short films, and songs. In 2011, he started doing social work with an international development organization, BRAC (Building Resources Across Communities). He was the Senior Education Manager in November 2011. In 2014, he was appointed as the Education Program Manager at BRAC. He has also represented BRAC in international summits and camps. In April 2017, he was appointed Head of Early Childhood Development Program at BRAC International.

Mithila has worked in countries such as Uganda, Nepal, Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan, and, Liberia for research projects, teaching in the field of early childhood education and development, and designing and implementing game-based educational models. She is a women’s and children’s rights activist in Bangladesh. He is the brand ambassador for the “BBC Janala” Campaign and the goodwill ambassador for Grameen Phone’s “Safe Internet for Children” campaign in Bangladesh. Mithila has designed and hosted Bangladesh’s first radio show on parenting in early childhood development called “Berey Othar Golpo” on Radio Shadhin.

Associated with BRAC International, he has worked as a lecturer, teacher and tutor in institutions such as the University of North Bangladesh, Scholastica Bangladesh school, Minneapolis Public School District in the United States and the Department of Early Childhood Development at BRAC University. He is also a writer for academic and non-academic blogs and journals.

Controversy
On November 4, 2019, an intimate picture of Mithila with Iftekhar Ahmed Fahmi was leaked online. Many news publications published the pictures, and the pictures went viral on social media. On 5 November 2019, he addressed the controversy on Facebook and said that Ahmed Fahmi’s account was hacked and his picture was stolen from his account, and he had filed a complaint with the cyber crime department regarding the matter.
