Rahul Dua was born in 1992 (age as in 2020; 28 years old) and hails from Ludhiana, Punjab, India. He did his schooling from Sacred Heart Convent School, Ludhiana, and pursued B.Tech in Electronics and Communication at Thapar University, Patiala. After that, he appeared for CAT (entrance test for MBA) and got admission in Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi, one of the best B-schools in India. His MBA specialization is in Finance and Marketing.

Career
In the Corporate sector:
Rahul Dua was a project intern at Nokia, Gurgaon, for six months (Jan 2011 – June 2011). After that, he started working as a credit risk officer at Citibank, Mumbai, and eventually became an investment banker. Dua worked at Citibank for approximately 18 months. While he tried his hand at open mics, he also simultaneously worked as an Assistant Manager at Star India Private Limited (Star TV), Gurgaon (2015-2017).
As a Stand Up Comedian:
Along with his day job at Star TV, he manages time for open mic nights in Connaught Place, Delhi. When Dua finally started getting paid for his performances, he decided to pursue stand-up full time. In an interview he said,
Once I started getting pay slots, I decided to quit my job and pursue comedy full time. Coincidentally, when I was serving the notice period, the Comicstaan ad came out.
In 2018, Dua made her debut as a contestant on ‘Comicstaan,’ an Indian stand-up comedy competition television series, where she was crowned first runner-up. After this reality show, Dua became famous.

- Rahul is an exceptionally bright student. He was a topper in school, as well as college. He is a merit scholarship holder at Thapar University, Patiala, where he studied B.Tech in Electronics and Communication.
- After his graduation, Rahul scored 99.4 percentile in CAT (Common Admission Test), the entrance test for MBA, which led to his admission to one of the best MBA colleges in India, Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi.

- His latest gig (as in 2020), ‘Oh Hello!’ has attracted the attention of the audience. This is his first solo tour. He was going to visit forty cities in part of ‘Oh Hello,’ but due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, he did this funny show online.
