Career
After completing his studies, Rajat struggled to find a job in the aviation industry. Later, he worked as an analyst at a research firm. His colleagues praise him for his ability to make everyone laugh even in very stressful situations. Soon, Rajat realized that his corporate job was not his calling, and he quit to pursue his passion for stand-up comedy. In 2013, Rajat moved to Mumbai as there was a dearth of comedy venues in Delhi. Rajat struggled to make people laugh early in his career. He even mentioned in a YouTube video that he quit stand-up for a few months after failing (failing badly) at several open mics. In 2015, Rajat moved back to Delhi and started working as a Project Leader at Hansa Research Group Pvt. Ltd. in Delhi. He worked there for two years and quit in 2017. While working at this firm, Rajat started performing at open mics after office hours. After quitting his corporate job in 2017, Rajat became a professional comedian. He started performing at corporate shows, weddings, and even kitty parties, and with that, his audience base went from a handful to packed houses.
Rajat wrote a comedy special titled ‘Bachpan’ in 2019. He performs this special almost all over India, and his shows are often packed.
Rajat rose to fame after his first YouTube video titled ‘Ola Share ka Suffer’ went viral in 2018; the video made him an overnight star. His YouTube channel has more than 700 thousand subscribers in 2021.

- Rajat describes himself as a ‘storyteller’ and ‘attention seeker.’ Its content is mostly based on eccentric observations made about human mundane life. In an interview, talking about the source of his jokes, he said,
Mera source of jokes hi observation. Jo bhi cheezan mere aas paas ho rahi hai main unhe thoda sa minutely observe karta hun jo aap [audience] shayad nahi karte. Aur kyunki shayad main ye itne saal se kar raha hun toh mera dekhne ka perspective esa ho gaya hai.”
- According to Rajat, he did not pay much attention to academics during his school days. He scored 74.5% in 10th standard and 75% in 12th standard.

Main real life main corporate main kaam kar chuka hun aur main in general bhi gali nahi deta hun toh jo banda gali nahi deta toh uske main content generally gali nahi aati. Agar aap jin stand-up comic ko dekhte ho jo galliyan dete hai toh main aapko bataun ki unke tone main gali hai naki wo on purpose gali dete hai.”
